PHIL COLLINS | LITTLE DREAMS FOUNDATION

In June of 2015 Emily auditioned for Phil Collins in the hopes of being a member of their local mentoring program “The Little Dreams Foundation”. The Little Dreams Foundation was established in Europe in February of 2000 and started in the USA in 2014. Its mission is to fulfill the dreams of young aspiring talents without the financial means to achieve their goals. Children are selected by audition only. Emily was #44 that exciting day, out of 100+ talented hopefuls, and was the first to be selected by Phil Collins.
Emily is thrilled to be a part of this organization and to perform at Phil’s many benefits and galas. In addition to performing live with Phil Collins, Emily has sung backup for Lou Gramm (Foreigner) on his mega hit, "I Want to Know What Love Is", KT Tunstall on her hit Black Horse and the Cherry Tree as well as Jon Secada and Emily Estefan. GIVING BACK
Emily is a strong believer in helping people young and old, as well as giving back to her community. As a fifth year Girl Scout she spends time working with younger scouts in teaching them new skills, donates time to Animal Shelters and is involved in many other aspects of community service. She sings once a month at assisted living facilities, often the memory units with introverted patients, and is known for getting them to engage in song and dance. One of the causes near and dear to Emily's heart is the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Since Emily was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2014, she has felt strongly about being involved in this organization any way she can. With her music video WARRIOR, she has raised awareness about Type 1 Diabetes and its symptoms and has inspired diabetics in and out of the U.S. in countries such as Canada, Australia, and England.
